APC Time opens office at University high tech campus
This December, following continued growth in its high-precision time and frequency synchronisation business, APC has relocated its APC Time division to a new central Lincoln base.
Established in 2008, the team provides technical sales and support of time and frequency synchronisation solutions for organisation that handle vast quantities of data and need to accurately timestamp these virtual communications.
Demand for this cutting-edge technology continues to grow amongst customers within broadcast, telecoms, financial trading and power/utilities. So in order to better service these customers the team has moved from their Nettleham base to more easily accessible new offices at the Sparkhouse innovation hub within the University of Lincoln.
The University of Lincoln founded Sparkhouse in 2002 to provide a centre of growth for high tech and creative businesses and to be a hub for innovation for both graduate start-ups and the university itself. The Sparkhouse ethos encourages knowledge sharing and innovation, indeed the centre has been recognised by several regional and national awards including as a ‘Best Practice’ incubator by UK Business Incubation (UKBI). The contemporary building and its other technology sector clients will provide an environment where APC Time can continue to thrive.
Commented APC Technology Group CEO, Richard Hodgson
This move enables us to build on the great success we have had with our APC Time products in the finance and broadcast sectors over the last couple of years. It will also enable us to collaborate with other innovative Lincoln businesses, as well as providing a base for our whole business in the North of England.
