Multiplied Phase Locked Oscillators

API Technologies’ line of multiplied phase locked oscillators (PLOs) provide ultra low phase noise performance as well as the ability to modify standard parameters to meet customers’ unique requirements. These multiplied PLOs also offer flexibility in the desired frequency generation output by utilising a series of x2 multipliers.

Packed full of standard features, our complete line of free running DRO designs operate from 500 MHz to 21.5 GHz, with ‘modified standard’ units available in all frequencies from HF to Ku band.

Digitally Controlled Crystal Oscillators

API’s digitally controlled crystal oscillators (DCXO) combine the frequency stability of a crystal oscillator source with the flexibility of direct digital synthesis (DDS) in a temperature controlled housing to provide a highly accurate output signal.

The output frequency generation is controlled by a 16 bit binary word supplied from an external source.

Frequency Multiplier Oscillator

The Frequency Multiplier Oscillator (FMO) is a compact 21 channel synthesized signal generator that provides transmit and LO signals for L-band and S-Band airborne radar systems. This design incorporates a unique isolation system for exceptional phase noise performance during vibration.

Features: 21 Transmit channels, 21 first LO channels, 195 MHz fixed second LO, 5 MHz fixed third LO, 5 MHz differential TTL processors clock, All signals are coherent to an internal reference
