AW02 : DCF77 Outdoor Antenna

DCF77 Outdoor Antenna AW02 for all Meinberg DCF77 (AM and PZF type) longwave radio receivers.

The AW02 is a weatherproof and temperature resistant DCF77 active antenna for outdoor use. It includes a ferrite rod with impregnated winding and RF amplifier circuit in a plastic housing, with power provided by the receiver via the antenna cable.

The AW02 supports antenna-receiver distances of up to 300m (1000ft) with standard RG58 cable, and longer cable runs are possible using an amplifier or the fibre optic DOAL antenna system.

Control elements: For orientation the antenna is rotatable (360 deg). When the antenna cable is more than 300m lenght an antenna amplifier is needed.

AW02-60 : 60 kHz Outdoor Antenna

Long Wave Outdoor Antenna AW02-60 for all Meinberg MSF and WWVB long wave radio receivers.

The AW02-60 is a weatherproof and temperature resistant 60 kHz antenna for outdoor use. It includes a ferrite rod with impregnated winding and RF amplifier circuit in a plastic housing, with power provided by the receiver via the antenna cable.

The AW02-60 antenna can be placed up to 300m (1000ft) from the receiver using standard RG58 cable. Greater distances are possible using an antenna amplifier, low loss RG213 cable or the fibre optic DOAL antenna system.
