Further information The Antenna is compliant to the ATEX-Directive 94/9/EC and certificated for Zone 1, an area in which an explosive mixture is likely to occur in normal operation. The ATEX-Directive is an EU directive describing what equipment and work environment is allowed in an area with an explosive atmosphere.

Meinberg's explosion proof antenna consists of a passive antenna and a stainless steel housing including a 40dB amplifier. The stainless steel (AISI-316) housing which is resistant to many environmental impacts, such as sea salt, makes the antenna also suitable for use on offshore platforms.

WEEE status of the product This product is handled as a B2B category product. In order to secure a WEEE compliant waste disposal it has to be returned to the manufacturer. Any transportation expenses for returning this product (at its end of life) have to be incurred by the end user, whereas Meinberg will bear the costs for the waste disposal itself.
