Representing Meinberg on the Axon Truck Tour

Representing Meinberg on the Axon Truck Tour

APC Time is excited to announce that they will be representing Meinberg on the UK leg of the Axon Truck Tour in March.

As the UK and Ireland’s exclusive distributor for Meinberg, a global leader in time and synchronisation systems, APC will be demonstrating their broadcast applications and how they support a full live IP production environment.

Following the success of last year’s tour, Axon are readying their trucks with the latest high-quality broadcast equipment to showcase customers who are unable to attend the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas in April.

Axon develops, manufactures and markets equipment for the conversion, processing and compliance recording of audio and video signals. Their trucks will be giving customers a sneak peek at the latest innovations, including synchronisation solutions from the market leader, Meinberg.

Axon’s trucks will be fully kitted out, allowing broadcast professionals hands-on demonstrations from AXON, Meinberg, SONY, ARISTA and more.

The demonstration truck will have a focus on Live Production & MCR/Play-out, showcasing how rolling interoperability and live IP processing works seamlessly together with all current standards (SDI, ST2110, 2020). In addition, there will be a Hospitality truck for customer meetings.

Showcasing the Meinberg IMS series

APC Time will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss the Meinberg IMS series of PTPv2 Grandmaster clocks. These will be providing ST2110 and AES67 synchronisation profiles to the AXON outside broadcast truck.
