LAPP's rolling stock cable solutions keep the industry moving

LAPP's suite of rolling stock products features more than 500 cables, including tried and tested power and control cables. LAPP's ÖLFLEX TRAIN, UNITRONIC TRAIN and ETHERLINE TRAIN product lines offer reliable solutions that do not compromise on safety, quality or functionality. Within each range, LAPP manufactures 3GKW, 4GKW and 9GKW equivalents as well as the specific standards out of production.
Their products also comply with the highest national and international standards such as EN 45545-2 (Hazard Level 1, 2 and 3) and EN 45545-3. LAPP's manufacturing facility for the ÖLFLEX TRAIN is certified in accordance with the ISO/TS 22163, thus operating within the framework of the required processes of the railway industry. This is part of LAPP ongoing commitment to ensure passenger and crew safety in the event of a fire.
ÖLFLEX TRAIN
ÖLFLEX TRAIN cables are physically cross-linked in LAPP's electron beam system using high-energy beams. This gives them significantly improved mechanical and chemical resistance, even at elevated temperatures.
However, durability and resistance are important not only at high temperatures. In some climatic zones, cables running along the outside of the railway vehicles must be able to withstand temperatures down to -40°C. No problem for cross-linked products from LAPP.
