IP65 water and dust resistant, the rugged Windows tablet is capable of withstanding drops of up to 4ft. With a 10.1” high brightness WUXGA LED display, and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass panel, this military rugged tablet is highly readable even in bright sunlight.

Advantech’s PWS-872 military spec tablet is compatible with the latest communications technology. The system comes with built-in 4G LTE, offering fast and secure data communications. The army tablet also has 802.11 WLAN in all its options including a/b/g/n/ac wave2 version. Additionally, the military-grade tablet has Bluetooth 4.1, and full GNSS which supports GPS, Galileo and the selection of either China’s BeiDou or Russia’s GLONASS systems for global positioning – ensuring unsurpassed performance across a variety of infrastructures.

The ultra-rugged military spec Windows tablet includes a built-in 2MP front CMOS sensor camera with video streaming support and a rear 8MP CMOS sensor camera with LED flash and autofocus.

Inside the PWS-872, the tablet features a 7th generation Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor which support Windows 10. In addition to the tablet’s internal battery, a hot-swappable external battery allows the system to operate for up to 11 hours at a time. A variety of peripherals are available including a vehicle docking station, desk docking station and extension module support.
