Feedback RF Resistors
Available from APC, IPP has developed a line of feedback resistors to support wideband RF/microwave solid state transistor power amplifiers which require resistive feedback. Using negative resistive feedback is a simple way to improve transistor amplifier stability and frequency gain sloping. IPP’s new feedback resistors are flange mounted and designed to fit directly over the RF/microwave transistor using the same mounting holes as the transistor.
The feedback resistors are constructed using nickel-plated aluminium flanges with BeO ceramic resistors, providing excellent thermal conductivity and low parasitic capacitance. These products are available in a range of resistor values and power levels to match various applications. Flange styles are designed with mounting holes to match up with many popular transistor footprints. Feedback resistors are available with or without DC blocking capacitors with values which can be customised as required.
Low Capacitance RF Resistors
Available in the UK from APC RF & Microwave, IPP’s low capacitance RF resistors are available in frequency ranges from DC to 6 GHz in power levels up to 300 watts average. These components are used to lower the parasitic capacitance making them ideal for use in RF power dividers / combiners or transistor feedback resistors.
Our low capacitance resistors are available in flangeless and flanged packages. The flangeless packages are designed to be soldered directly to the heat sink for minimum thermal resistance. Flange resistors are designed for screw-down mounting directly to heat sinks for improved heat dissipation. The flanged resistors are available in single, double and four hole flange mounting styles. IPP’s flange resistors are constructed using BeO ceramic and nickel plated copper flanges.

Flangeless RF Resistors
IPP flangeless resistors are designed to be soldered directly to the heat sink for the best possible heat transfer. BeO ceramic is used to create a very low thermal resistance and capacitance. Flangeless resistors are available in frequencies from DC to 4.0 GHz at power levels up to 400W.
